Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: September 9, 2026
Manual Physical Therapy & Concierge Services is committed to making manualconciergept.com usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. This statement describes our conformance target, what we've done, what we know still needs work, and how to tell us if something isn't working for you.
Conformance Target
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Section 504 rule and commonly used as the benchmark in ADA Title III accessibility matters.
Measures We've Taken
This site was built with accessibility as a design constraint from the start and has since gone through a dedicated remediation pass covering the full site. That work included:
- Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a skip-to-content link on every page.
- Proper label association, field descriptions, and keyboard-reachable error handling on every appointment request form.
- Color combinations checked against WCAG contrast ratios, with several brand color pairings darkened or swapped where they fell short.
- A visible focus indicator on every interactive element, and keyboard access to components that previously depended on a mouse (the interactive body map, the mobile menu, review-wall auto-scroll).
- Full support for reduced-motion preferences: every animation ships with a static, fully visible fallback, and none of this site's content depends on JavaScript to become visible.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, including staff photos and award badges, and aria-hidden on purely decorative graphics.
- Automated testing with axe-core across every page template, plus manual keyboard-only testing of the booking and contact flows.
We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time project. We re-check this site whenever we add or change a page, and we review it as a whole on a regular basis.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of this site are not, or may not yet be, fully accessible:
- Google Maps embed. The embedded map on several pages is a third-party iframe. We've given it a descriptive title, but we don't control its internal keyboard behavior. If you can't use the map, our address and a clickable phone number are always available in the same section and in the site footer.
- Google-hosted review content. Patient review text displayed on this site is sourced from Google and reproduced as submitted; we can't alter the structure of that third-party content beyond how we present it on the page.
- If you encounter any other barrier, please use the contact method below. We will fix genuine defects; where a limitation is unavoidable (for example, it lives inside a third-party embed we don't control), we'll tell you that plainly and offer an alternative way to get the same information or complete the same task.
