Why Hip Pain Is Rarely Just a Hip Problem

Hip pain can show up during walking, running, sitting, or simple daily movements like getting in and out of a car. While the discomfort may feel localized to the hip, it is often influenced by movement restrictions and imbalances throughout the entire lower body and core system.

At Manual Physical Therapy & Concierge Services, we take a whole-body approach to understanding hip pain. Limited mobility in the spine, pelvis, knees, or ankles can all contribute to excess stress on the hip joint. By identifying how your body compensates during movement, we can uncover the true source of dysfunction and address what is actually driving your symptoms.

Restoring Strength, Mobility, and Control

Every treatment plan begins with a detailed assessment of your posture, gait, strength, and movement patterns. This allows us to pinpoint restrictions and imbalances affecting how your hip functions during daily activity and exercise.

Using our hands-on treatment approach, we work to improve joint mobility, reduce soft tissue tension, and restore balanced movement throughout the body. The goal is to help you move with greater freedom, build lasting strength and stability, and return to the activities you enjoy without ongoing hip pain or limitation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know this will actually work for me?
We only accept patients whose problems match what the Body Recalibration Method is designed to treat. If your body has become lopsided from years of compensation, this is exactly what we address. Most patients experience 50–75% improvement by the end of the program.
How long will it take to see results?
Most people notice improvement after every session. The full program is typically about 2½ months, depending on how long you’ve been in pain and how many areas are involved.
How long will the results last?
Results are long-lasting because your body has been recalibrated to function more normally and symmetrically. You’ll receive a short 10–15 minute morning routine to maintain your progress. Monthly maintenance is optional.
How long will each treatment session last?
Each session is 60 minutes, completely hands-on and one-on-one. We work directly on your body the entire time to move you toward your goals.
Do you take insurance?
We wish insurance covered this type of care, but our holistic approach treats the entire body at once and doesn’t fit insurance guidelines. Because of that, insurance does not cover our treatment, and we do not accept insurance.”
